I seriously am horrible at keeping this up-to-date... one of these days I'll get the hang of it.
School and work are keeping me busy but the LSAT prep is keeping Regan even busier. Only one more semester and then I have to find a job. I'm a little aprehensive to enter the real world but luckily since I don't know where we are going to end up I can only worry about it so much.
NEWEST OBSESSION: VERONICA MARS. Best show EVER.
I am really looking forward to the holidays. My bday is only a week away. I'll be 22. I know that that that isn't old but it sure does feel more mature, haha. AND, of course I always love Christmas. This year I'll be spending it with Regan's family. BUT, I head to Richmond, VA on December 27th. I CAN"T WAIT!!!
Out for now...

I'm really going to try to do better at posting...

Last night Regan and I went to dinner with my old roommates and their husbands- which I have to say was SOOOOO fun. We ate at an Indian restaurant in Provo across from 7/11 and I was pleasantly suprised by how delicious my Chicen Tikka Misala was- like so good. Mmm mmm. Can't wait to go back there. I really wish I would have gotten a picture of our food. This one will have to do, instead.
Afterwards we played Clue at Chrissi's house. Regan and I won the first game... as expected, I suppose. (haha!) All in all I think good times were had by all.

Auf Wiedersehen!

As my time in Washington DC is quickly coming to a close I thought I would post a picture of me at the glorious Heritage Foundation. All I can say is that I hope I never see another RSVP again. No but seriously, I am so grateful for all that I've learned during my time at the HF. And especially for all of the free lunches!
It has been a good semester but I am loving the fact that I only have 5 MORE DAYS until I'll be back in Provo. (And only three more days of work!)

Wedding Pictures
So it seems like this blog gets its share of wedding picts... but really, can anyone get enough wedding pictures?
Perhaps just the people who have to be in a million of them... or the babies who can't sit through them.
ANYWAY, here are a few* from Regan's sister's wedding.

Worst Flight EVER
Okay, so not like I haven't told every person I have talked to in the last couple of days how awful my experience was with Frontier Airlines... but I thought I would also let it be known on the world wide web.
Best quote (from the man with the foot long mullet behing me in line for cusomter service):
"This airline shouldn;t be called Frontier. They should call is CRAPtier!"
Well said.
HOWEVER, despite how horrific sitting on the runway in SLC for four hours without air conditioning and three screaming infants was... it was definitly worth getting to go on my trip. I had a really great time. Maybe I'll post some pictures next.

My new pet peeve...

So I know I complained about people not having elevator etiquette around BYU but my new pet peeve is OH SO MUCH WORSE. I really really can't stand it when people stand on the left side of the escalator. Maybe some people aren't aware of the unwritten rule so I am going to do my part and try to get the word out:
Stand on the right; walk on the left!

I'M COMING TO UTAH!!!
On February 14 (my favorite day of the year) I'll be hopping on the metro and heading over to the Reagan Airport where I will catch my flight to Salt Lake City. Can't wait to see everyone!
YEAH YEAH!!!
So I have been making $10 a day at my internship but upon speaking with my supervisor on Friday I discovered that she had budgeted $50 a day for me and accounting messed up my check. SO they are going to correct the mistake AND MAKE IT RETROACTIVE. You know what that means... LINDSAY'S BUYING A NANO! AWWWESOOOOME.
If you couldn't tell I am pretty psyched.

My Life in the Capitol City
So, sorry to all my fans that I haven't posted in ages (all two of you). Life has been... new here. Between starting my internship at the HF and downing the entire network where I live I've been keeping somewhat busy. Nevermind the fact that it is 9:20 pm on a Saturday night and I am hanging out in the computer lab alone. Everyone else is down watching some sort of football game and the idea just isn't too appealing to me.
The Highs:
-Finding my way around on the metro
-Living in Foggy Bottom- very close to Georgetown and a Chipotle
-Running by the Capitol AND getting
-Beautiful weather (up unitl today that is)
-Buying a plane ticket for a trip back to Utah in Feb.
-Getting a call to meet the Bishop for a calling
-Not working on Fridays
The Lows:
-Having to use my key card to get in and out of every room in my building
-Getting an evil stare from some batty old women for eating on the metro (I didn't even know that that wasn't allowed)
-Paying $2.30 to get to work everyday.
-Only making $10 a day and my job.
-Feeling guilty for not giving money to homeless people (and sometimes lying- saying I don't have any cash when I really do).
-Shutting down the network where I live (I won't even get into that one- but I am pretty sure that it was my fault.
-Having to wake up SO freaking early to get to work on time.
My apartment is really nice- it is more like a dorm, though. I don't have much in it as you can see from the pictures but I kind of like that, too. Maybe I'll become a minimalist. I get a long with my roommate- and she showers at night so I don't have to fight for the bathroom in the morning, which is AWEsome. I thought that the whole community kitchen was going to suck... but it really isn't bad at all.
So anyway, I'm getting used to the homeless people and getting excited for the seminars to come at my work. Hopefully I'll have some better pictures to post soon.

Guess who is coming for Dinner?

I'm so psyched... I can hardly wait. I won't put too many details on here but I'll just say that ringing in the New Year is definitely going to be more fun than last year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISSI

My roommate (she will always be my original roommate) turned 21 today. Happy 21st Chrissi!! I love you.
Favorite Chrissi memories (in no particular order):
1. Looking over in DT and seeing her with her eye mask on.
2. Coming home at any time of the day and seeing that Chrissi had changed into her pajamas.
3. Watching Charlie and bawling our eyes out.
4. Elevator parites
5. Seeing Chrissi fall into the closet
6. Listening to "College Girls are Easy"
7. Going to her wedding
8. Lunch every other day in the Wilk while she should be "working".
9. Hiding during S hall floor meetings
10. Almost drowning in the James River
Hope you are happy as a clam today...

A pet peeve I didn't even know I had...
I have realized this week that not many people have been taught elevator etiquette. My job requires me to take the elevator many times a day... I can't take the stairs very easily with carts full of equipment. When the doors open you let the passengers that are on the elevator off BEFORE you rush on. Don't stand right in front of the doors and then act suprised to see that someone is actully on the elvator. Its not that hard, folks.

Someone else's take on life...
Stumbled across this the other day... I really thought it was good. Probably because "from singledom to doubledom" is one of my favorite topics... Check it out.

shhh...
So, I'm not sure that I'll ever be comfortable publishing anything really personal on the world wide web. . . I think I 'll leave it to a cool new blog I've found. Check it out. It's brilliant.
